I'm sure everyone has come across Mark Ryden at least once before, but i'm sure y'all will still enjoy this.

Ashley Wood. I just love the way he applies paint it looks so great. He did a tank girl comic at some point called the gifting and that's how i originally came across him. so good.

suggestions for background anyone? i could leave it as is but it looks unfinished and if i want to give stuff away it should look good. i thought about peach coloured but the appeal of peach might just be because peaches are furry and fabulous looking. i dunno. sorry about crappy photo.

i've been working on this for awhile. i thought it looked good then when i took a photo i realised that she looks really gumby? i don't understand what happened. and the linseed oil keeps sinking in instead of staying solid and shiny. ugh.

mothers day card. ive been inspired. this was a bit of practise. i want to buy a nice big canvas and just do this but bigger and better. hopefully. we'll see.

Yea i know my pictures always seem to go over the sides but you have to see them up close!

I don't know what gets me about romanticism. but it's great.

I am not usually a fan of landscape paintings. but this just caught my eye. its pretty.

new painting this time trying out gesso on the background. And using linseed oil instead of turps to thin the paint. And doodles that might eventuate to something but maybe not.

I've been useless about posting here sorry, i'm pretty busy at the moment but i'm sick so this is my time off. Have some baroque art to brighten your day.
